At its Board of Directors meeting earlier this year, the NLA Board of Directors elected Robert Alexander, President/CEO of RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation as the 19th President in the Association’s 35 year history. Alexander will succeed 7-time President, Gary Buffo, who remains an NLA Board member.
“I cannot adequately express my gratitude to the NLA Board of Directors for their confidence in me to lead the Association as President. There are enormous shoes to fill and through Gary’s leadership and dedication, the NLA is poised for success both now and in the future,” stated Alexander.
Regarding his term as President, Buffo recalled “Being at the helm of the NLA during some if its most trying and changing times was certainly not always easy, but I was fortunate enough to work with a passionate and dedicated Board of Directors and staff who supported me and helped to get us to where we are today. Thank you all. And to my friend Robert – I cannot wait to see you take on this role. It will certainly change your life as it did mine.”
Alexander assumes the President’s duties immediately and his first term will conclude with the 2021 CD/NLA Show at MGM Grand in Las Vegas in February 2021.
The NLA Board also elected the remainder of the Executive Committee and those officers are: Douglas Schwartz-1st Vice President, Tracy Raimer-2nd Vice President, Rick Versace-Treasurer, Brett Barenholtz-Secretary.
